Our crowns are a simple two-step process. The first appointment, we get you fitted for it. You come back two weeks later, we deliver the crown and you’re good to go. Some of the circumstances that dictate us doing crowns for teeth are large fillings that are failing, teeth with previous root canal treatment, cracked teeth, or fractured teeth. But the process is the same for all these. We see you for two visits. First one, we get you ready, get you fitted for it. And when you come back two weeks later, we deliver the final crown.

Enjoy a New Smile With a Crown or Bridge
For patients who come to us to repair their missing and damaged teeth, there’s a good chance we’ll use a crown or bridge for the job. In the trained hands of Dr. Kaady, they can be used to restore your smile and strengthen your bite. You’ll be able to enjoy life again! Below are some of your restoration options:
- Crown for Tooth Repair – Need to have a damaged or diseased tooth repaired? We can cap it with a custom crown shaded to match the rest of your smile. It will completely cover the tooth to strengthen it and prevent further problems.
- Fixed Dental Bridge – If you have one or two adjacent teeth missing, a dental bridge is a good option for the repair. It will anchor to your other teeth with artificial teeth in the middle. This gives you back a beautiful smile and strong bite.
- Implant-Supported Crown – Tired of living without that tooth? As an alternative to a traditional bridge, this restoration will use a dental implant-crown combination to replace a single missing tooth and restore your bite.
- Implant-Supported Bridge – This type of bridge is secured by two or more implants, rather than your other teeth. Like other implant restorations, it will help you maintain a strong jawbone.
- Inlays and Onlays – If your dental damage doesn’t require a complete crown, we can use these partial crowns for the repair. They are usually made from porcelain or zirconia.

Dr. Kaady has done a crown on me before, and he tells me, “It’s gonna be rough, it’s gonna be a little bit noisy when I’m in there doing the work that I need to do,” so I’m alerted by that, knowing what’s gonna happen. And then he does his work, and he says, “I’m gonna make this mold for you.” They call me and tell me, “It’s time to come back in and get your other process done.” And they put it on. He say, “Oh, it’ll be a little bit sensitive,” and it is, but then he says, “It’ll wear off in a little bit.” The process is always good with him. He always alerts me as what’s gonna happen, and then it happens, and then we’re all good. I always feel comfortable smiling because I know that Doctor Kaady and the hygienist have done a really good job on my teeth. So I feel comfortable smiling in front of everybody.
Dental crowns and bridges are a fantastic investment in your smile. Most of our patients can expect their new crown or bridge to last at least five to seven years after placement. However, these restorations can last longer, especially if you take care not to chew hard, gummy, or sticky foods.
Your individual cost for crowns and bridges can vary widely, depending on your needs and treatment plan. Placing a single crown is less expensive than filling in a smile gap with a bridge consisting of several replacement teeth. Our team will be happy to cover all the details in full during a consultation and answer any questions you have about your treatment.
Many dental insurance plans will cover at least a portion of your treatment using crowns and bridges, usually half. We recommend you check with your insurance carrier to determine exactly what is and isn’t covered before you begin treatment. That way you’ll know your exact cost, and there won’t be any surprises in store.
